晋国如果处在这样一个巨大的包围圈中，他要面对也会是无休止的战争，即使有再多的军队，恐怕都会有捉襟见肘之感，同样，匈奴人也会牵制和消耗掉晋国大量的资源！
当然，在那种情况下，晋国的外交能力一定会比较强，为了生存，一定会涌现出一大批外交人才，但是，在那个完全依靠实力的时代，再强大的外交能力永远不可能是国家强大的基础。
最后，总结一下，如果韩赵魏没有分晋，晋国以一个统一的国家出现在战国群雄中，凭借其广袤的国土，肥沃的土地，便利的交通，发达的经济，众多的人口，晋国必将是群雄中非常强大的国家，也绝对拥有一争天下的实力。但是由于其自身不可抗的劣势，其国力将会在连年的战争中不断的被消耗，极有可能像赵国那样最终死在各国的夹缝中！

For, the rooms, though a beautiful scene to look at, and adorned with every device of decoration that the taste and skin of the time could achieve, were, in truth, not a sound business; considered with any reference to the scarecrows in the rags and nightcaps elsewhere (and not so far off, either, but that the watching towers of Notre Dame, almost equidistant from the two extremes, could see them both), they would have been an exceedingly uncomfortable business- if that could have been anybody's business, at the house of Monseigneur.

“挺住？”孟长胜瞪着眼，“怎么个挺住法儿？马上就要过同蒲路了，那儿可是鬼子的要塞，也是这次去东北最难过的一关，我估计要有一场恶仗，其艰苦的程度绝不会亚于上次的边区突围！”
